Law Enforcement Request Guidelines
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
Love Meets Amore (“LMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our clients, candidates, members, and website users while complying with applicable legal obligations.
These guidelines explain how authorized law enforcement agencies and governmental authorities may submit requests for information relating to Love Meets Amore or its users.
1. Legal Process Required
Love Meets Amore reviews governmental and law enforcement requests for information on a case-by-case basis.
Requests for client, candidate, user, account, communication, transaction, or other non-public information must be accompanied by valid legal process appropriate to the information being requested, such as a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or other legally recognized request.
We reserve the right to reject requests that are incomplete, overly broad, legally insufficient, or otherwise invalid.
2. Information Required
Law enforcement requests should clearly identify:
The requesting agency and authorized officer or representative
Official contact information for the requesting individual
The legal authority supporting the request
The specific individual, account, transaction, or matter involved
The categories of information being requested
The applicable date range
A copy of the relevant subpoena, warrant, court order, or other legal process
Requests should be narrowly tailored to the information reasonably necessary for the investigation.
3. Submission of Requests
Authorized law enforcement officials may submit legal requests to:
Love Meets Amore
Email: Gigi@lovemeetsamore.com
The subject line should state:
Law Enforcement Request – [Agency Name]
Submitting a request does not guarantee that information will be disclosed.
4. Review and Disclosure
Love Meets Amore will review requests for legal sufficiency and authenticity before disclosing non-public information.
We may seek clarification, request additional documentation, object to inappropriate requests, or seek legal review when necessary.
Information will be disclosed only to the extent required or permitted by applicable law.
5. Emergency Requests
If law enforcement believes there is an emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, the requesting agency should clearly identify the matter as an Emergency Disclosure Request and explain the nature of the emergency.
Emergency requests will be evaluated in accordance with applicable law. Submission of an emergency request does not guarantee disclosure.
6. Preservation Requests
Where permitted by applicable law, authorized law enforcement agencies may request preservation of specified records pending issuance of appropriate legal process.
Preservation requests should clearly identify the information or account involved and the applicable preservation period.
A preservation request does not itself authorize disclosure of preserved information.
7. User Notification
Unless prohibited by applicable law, court order, or legitimate safety concerns, Love Meets Amore reserves the right to notify affected individuals of requests for their information before or after disclosure.
8. Confidentiality and Privacy
Love Meets Amore takes the confidentiality and privacy of its clients and candidates seriously.
We do not voluntarily provide confidential user information to law enforcement simply upon informal request. Information may be disclosed when required by valid legal process, when permitted by applicable law, or when reasonably necessary to address an emergency involving imminent danger.
9. Changes to These Guidelines
We may revise these Law Enforcement Request Guidelines periodically to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be maintained on this page.
